EVENT HIRE
Although the Barn at Alcumlow is a popular Wedding Venue, it is also available for other types of event hire. The size of the venue and facilities make it ideal for a range of private events such as birthday parties, engagement parties, charity events, and corporate events including work Christmas parties.
Whatever the event type, our team are on hand to support you with everything from the planning to the execution of your special event, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and everybody has a wonderful time.
The Venue
The Barn at Alcumlow is a traditional Dutch Barn which has been lovingly converted into a modern yet charming venue. If you are looking for somewhere unique for your special event then you are in the right place!

Step inside the Barn and you will find a generously sized space which still maintains a cosy feel and different areas which people can break-off into.

The middle of the Barn is home to our all important dance floor which boasts a top of the range over-head sound system. This delivers the optimal volume on the dancefloor to get your guests moving whilst those elsewhere in the Barn are not overpowered by sound. To the left of the dance floor is our 'stage' where your entertainers or DJ can set-up and connect to our sound system.

At the left side of the Barn is our Bar (more on that below!) and to the right there is plenty of eating and seating space.

Our clean and modern toilets can be accessed from the Barn, so you don't have to venture outside if you don't wish you!

If you are lucky enough to have fine weather on the day of your event, why not make use of our well maintained outdoor areas including our Spanish Courtyard Garden which is the perfect place to sip on a sangria and watch the sun go down.
The Bar
We understand that the bar is an important part of any event, which is why we have invested in it's recent renovation. The new Bar features copper piping, rustic wooden shelving, traditional crates and of course hundreds of twinkling fairy lights. We like to think that the bar now offers the wow factor.

We have also worked really hard to create a drinks menu to suit all tastes whilst maintaining reasonable prices. Something we are very passionate about!

For your event, the Bar will be fully stocked with drinks, garnishes and glass wear and operated by our professional yet friendly bar staff.
