Summer is right around the corner and so is another sunny wedding season here at Alcumlow Wedding Barn!
To get us well and truly in the mood, we have scoured the web, chatted to suppliers and soon to be brides and grooms to bring you our top 5 predicted wedding trends of Summer 2023.
1. Beautiful Banquets
Banquet style table décor is set to be a hot trend this summer. Think medieval style silver cups, hand picked flowers in mismatched vases and tall hurricane lamps (with flameless candles of course). You can't go far wrong with this style because you don't have to worry about everything being in-keeping, in fact - the quirkier the better!
2. Drapes
This is one trend we are truly delighted about as it just works so well to our outdoor White House, especially when used to make the aisle entrance even more romantic. Coupled with large floral displays, drapes can add a real boho vibe. Drapes can also be used within the wedding barn to add a touch of elegance and class.
3. Neon Signs
Neon signs took the wedding industry by storm in 2022 and we are so glad that they will be sticking around a little while longer! Whether you chose to have a more generic sign like 'let's party' or something especially made like your new marital name, your sign is bound to become a hot selfie-spot throughout the day!
4. Bright Blooms
We love pretty pastel petals and muted dried flower arrangements but we are also very excited by the bright and bold blooms which we have begun to see. Whether it be in the bridal party bouquets, as centre pieces or within décor dotted throughout the venue, bright flowers add a real sense of fun and vibrancy which is usually the perfect reflection of the bride and groom's personality.
5. Sustainability
Last but not least, sustainability. Yes that's right, sustainability is here to stay and we couldn't be happier about it. As an eco-conscious wedding venue we always encourage our couples to explore environmentally friendly options for their big day and we are now finding that many of our couples are coming to us with their own clever and creative ways to push sustainability up a gear. We hope that this is a trend which is here to stay long-term!
