THE VENUE
Exclusive Use
For the Bride that wants an undisturbed day! The venue shall be exclusively yours from 9am on the day of your Wedding right through until Midnight. The Barn will be cleaned over night so you can collect everything the next day!
Our Venue Hire package price includes exclusive use of the entire venue, briefly this encompasses The White House; Alcumlow Wedding Barn; The Surrounding Grounds, Courtyard and Lake.

We are a Dog Friendly Venue!
From doggy ring bearers to flower dogs we have seen it all! Your four legged friend is more than welcome at our rustic Barn!
We work with you to create a stress-free wedding day which is centred around what is important to you and your loved ones (Fury friends included!)
The Grounds
Here at Alcumlow Wedding Barn we are surrounded by stunning countryside views, that are a backdrop to the Mow Cop Castle ruins.
As you approach our venue you are greeted by lush fields and picturesque views for miles.
To the front of the barn you will find a stone courtyard with picnic benches and of course a beautiful lake with the White House looking on. The beautiful white structure is the perfect location for your Outdoor Civil Ceremony, surrounded by Cheshire Countryside views.
Step in to our beautiful rustic Barn, dripping with warm fairy lights and prepare to fall in love!
Don't forget our stunning Spanish inspired Stone Courtyard Garden, which is available exclusively for your Evening Reception! This beautiful space boasts outdoor seating, soft lighting and of course our Italian Copper Stone Baked Pizza Oven, the first of its kind in the United Kingdom.
THE CEREMONY
Church Ceremony
If you are looking for a Church of England Wedding Ceremony, there is a range of Churches in the local surrounding area. In particular the beautiful St Mary's on Astbury Green and the fairytale St. John Baptist Church in the heart of Smallwood.
Why not get married in Astbury Church which boasts a unique separate steeple thats stands apart from the stunning main building. With only a short distance from our venue, this Church is a great option for your ceremony. If you are looking for a more intimate Ceremony Smallwood Church is full of charm and character.

Civil Ceremony
If you are looking for the perfect Civil Ceremony Wedding Venue in Cheshire for you and your significant other then look no further! We offer indoor and outdoor Ceremonies, within our Barn or our White House (weather permitting).
The White House, is our unique chapel-like structure complete with suspended windows and flower filled window boxes.
Walk through our grand gates and down either of our breathtaking aisles.
Registrar and religious wedding costs are not included and will need to be arranged seperately. Ceremonies are only offered in conjunction with the reception being held at Alcumlow Wedding Barn.
Blessing
If you are looking for something more sentimental, a Blessing could be an ideal alternative for you.
Unlike the marriage itself, a blessing is a more spiritual way of symbolising the strength of your commitment to one another. It’s like a beautiful seal on the relationship.
You can choose to get married in a register office, then have your alternative celebration with us after!
A Blessing can be held inside of our rustic Dutch Barn or our picturesque Outdoor White House.
THE RECEPTION
The Layout and Speeches
Whether your guest list is as intimate as 30 or as big as 100 people; whether your preference is for ‘rustic informal’ or ‘elegant chic’, we have a layout for both for your wedding breakfast.
When it comes to your top table, we offer a range of options. We have our quirky two throne top table for just the Bride and Groom, or our traditional trestle top table that sit up to 10 people. Both work brilliantly in the Barn and offer a central location amongst your guests seating. Don't forget our large round banquet tables for your guests.
When it's finally time for the Speeches, we are here to help! Our wireless microphone will subtly amplify the speaker’s voice so that all your guests can appreciate their hard work!
When the sun sets and the evening guests start to arrive, our Dutch Wedding Barn is converted into the perfect Wedding Reception venue.
It offers a centrally located dance floor that is surrounded by our rustic benches, quirky hessian bale seating with barrel tables, a stage for any entertainment you may have up your sleeve and of course a fully stocked bar!
Your guests will be able to enjoy our fantastic suspended indoor speaker system, which is centrally places above the dance floor! All entertainment will plug straight in to our high tech sound system and bands will use our electronic drum kit that is kitted out and ready to go!
You won't be able to resist getting up and having a boogie in the barn!
